Boston Seafood Show

On March 13, 2005 , Provence Aquaculture’s General Manager, Emmanuel Briquet, will give a speech on certified-organic aquaculture products at the Boston Seafood Show. His presentation will be based on his 19 years of experience in the sustainable aquaculture industry, as well as on the importance of organic certification labels for seafood products.

Provence Aquaculture’s Project Manager, Elizabeth Proffitt, was honored to meet the Prime Minister of France, Jean-Pierre Raffarin, while attending a conference in Mexico City last November.

The conference united companies from France , Quebec and Mexico in an effort to increase trade relations between these countries.

America ’s Cup

From September 4-11 th preliminary America ’s Cup sailing competitions were held in Marseille. Here at Provence Aquaculture, we were privileged to see the boats race past the farm

September on the Sea

Every year “Office de la Mer” of Marseille organizes “September on the Sea,” a month dedicated to the discovery of the Mediterranean Sea and its resources.

Provence Aquaculture participated by opening its doors to the public and inviting visitors for a tour of the farm. Guests were guided through the production process giving them a hands-on look at aquaculture activities.

Emmanuel Briquet, General Manager of Provence Aquaculture, is currently traveling around the United States to promote high-quality aquaculture products from our region, Provence-Côtes d’Azur.

Emmanuel Briquet will be giving a speech at the next World Aquaculture Society conference in Glasgow , May 21 st. He will be discussing sustainable aquaculture practices and the role or organic aquaculture.
