Provence Aquaculture is situated on 2.2 hectares of public maritime property on Pomègues Island , 3 nautical miles off the coast of Marseille , France .

The Frioul Archipelago is composed of four islands, running north to south. The islands of Pomègues and Ratonneau are connected by a dam. Our site is protected by another smaller dam called “Little Mouth,” which was built in the 17 th century.

We are well situated so as to protect the production from storms, while ensuring a constant renewal of our waters by strong undercurrents. The production zone is free of all industrial, agricultural and urban activity; thus, our production is virtually unexposed to pollutants.
